All current and potential members of Couples Connection
are invited to attend a Planning Meeting in the synagogues
library to develop a calendar of events for 2008-2009. Please
come prepared to share your ideas with the group and host/sponsor
an activity in which you are interested. The continued success
of the Couples Connection depends upon your direct participation!
The Couples Connection is an active group of friendly participants
(who make no distinction
between current and new members and non-members who are
considering joining
Congregation Anshei Israel) whereby one member of the pair
is between the ages of 55 & 70(ish). Group members host
the planned activities on a rotating basis. Events include
holiday celebrations, fun, & social & cultural get-togethers.
There is no membership fee to participate.

and communal service for all members of the synagogue. Monthly
Sunday breakfast meetings offer delicious food, excellent
