  9:30 am
  Creative, interactive & upbeat Shabbat
  celebration that incorporates family-
  themed activities.

K'Ton Time
  10:30 am
  A 20-minute family service that includes
  songs, prayers, stories & games; a kid-
  friendly kiddush; playground time for the
  kids & schmoozing time for parents.

Junior Congregation
  A Service For Kids ... Led By Kids
  10:30 am
  Young people have the opportunity to be
   led in prayer by their peers, to engage in
   prayer in their own environment, and to
   strengthen bonds among themselves.    Service includes its own special
   kiddush. Open to the community.

Book discussions are held once a month and are open to everyone. We discuss selected books by Jewish authors or with Jewish content, and share our experiences, reactions, and ideas. Couples Connection
Planning Meeting

All current and potential members of Couples Connection are invited to attend a Planning Meeting in the synagogue’s library to develop a calendar of events for 2008-2009. Please come prepared to share your ideas with the group and host/sponsor an activity in which you are interested. The continued success of the Couples Connection depends upon your direct participation!

The Couples Connection is an active group of friendly participants (who make no distinction
between current and new members and non-members who are considering joining
Congregation Anshei Israel) whereby one member of the pair is between the ages of 55 & 70(ish). Group members host the planned activities on a rotating basis. Events include holiday celebrations, fun, & social & cultural get-togethers.
There is no membership fee to participate.

K'Ton Time

A family service your kids will love! This 20-minute service includes songs, prayers, stories & games; kid-friendly kiddush; playground time for kids & schmoozing time for parents. Then we join the main congregation for the end of sanctuary services & kiddush. K’Ton Time is geared to families with kids ages 1 to 6, but every family is welcome.

CAI’s Men’s Club provides educational, social and communal service for all members of the synagogue. Monthly Sunday breakfast meetings offer delicious food, excellent speakers and fellowship. Seniors' Meeting

Musical entertainment by Tucson Desert Harmony, who perform 4-part harmony in barbershop style. Light refreshments & monthly raffle following the show. No charge for paid-up Seniors’ members; guests $3.

Free musical program featuring student soloists from the University of Arizona School of Music with special guests Grayson Hirst, Tenor, UA Voice Professor and Cantor Ivor Lichterman, Congregation Anshei Israel. Free admission.
Donations requested to benefit Voice Students’ Traveling Scholarships for Orpheus’ European concert tour July 14-25, 2008. Event co-sponsored by Sons of Orpheus-The Male Choir of Tucson and Congregation Anshei Israel.
