Operation
Deep Freeze
Offered
by several local synagogues and churches throughout the
Tucson community, this program provides food, shelter and
a friendly face to homeless people during the months of
November, December, and January. Volunteers shop for, prepare
and serve meals to an appreciative audience. Approximately
25 homeless men have dinner and stay the night at a local
synagogue. We also need male volunteers at least 21 years
of age to stay overnight with the men. Donations of warm
gloves, hats, socks and coats, as well as blankets are greatly
appreciated by those in need.
For
more information about CAI's involvement in this annual
program or if you would like to participate, please contact
